Sony’s new waterproof Walkman might have launched some time ago, but this new marketing ploy should give it a lot more attention than before. To really emphasize the fact that these things are indeed waterproof, Sony has begun selling them inside water bottles… filled with water. And to top it all of, you can find them in vending machines in gyms. Brilliant.

With more and more people increasingly turning to their phones or other devices for their music fix, going after a very specific market might be the right move here for Sony. “The Bottled Walkman” is available now for around $80, is equipped with 4GB of memory and comes in a variety of colors.
