Even though Apple earphones haven’t always been the most desirable accessory to come out of the Apple line, they have always been quaint and usable, unlike some of the other solutions you find on eBay. Now, if rumors are to be believed, Apple is making a complete redesign to the bud of the earphone which will apparently give more comfort to the user.
Compared to the old large buds, these appear to be able to fit in your ear much better and may give you a better sound when listening to music or other audio. Their design also looks as if it makes them easier to store, hanging on your iDevice. Photos and a video have leaked of these new earphones courtesy of Vietnamese website Tinhte. Although Apple haven’t actually confirmed this as the iPhone 5 earphones, Tinhte has proven reliable in the past according to CNET.
The following are photos of the earphones followed by a video.
We don’t know whether these will come with the new iPad, the new iPod, the new iPhone, or all three but we believe the latter may be more likely as Apple tends to be accessory redesigns across all their products.
What do you think of the redesign? Let us know in the comments below.
