[Windows] Download manga to your computer easily with DomDomSoft Manga Downloader

If you are into reading manga, you know that keeping up with all your favorite books can be a chore. Well, DomDomSoft Manga Downloader is an easy way to help you keep up with it. This is a program that helps you easily download your favorite manga. Downloads are quick, and the interface is very intuitive.

Main Functionality

DomDomSoft Manga Downloader is a great program that helps you download all of your favorite manga easily. It has a huge list of sites that you can choose from and even gives you the option to remove sites from this list if you don’t like downloading from them. With so many different options and features, it is easy to see why DomDomSoft Manga Downloader has received such a huge internet following.

  • Huge list of sites to download manga from
  • Downloads finish quickly
  • You can pick and choose which websites you want to include. So if there is a site you don’t like, you can remove it from your list, and it won’t be included when doing a search
  • Option to let you read manga online
  • Bookmark feature allows you to mark books to be downloaded later

  • Limited version has ads playing at the bottom of the program
  • You have to upgrade to the full version if you want automatic updates when new chapters are released
  • You can’t read manga you downloaded using this program; thus, you have to have a separate program for reading said manga

DomDomSoft Manga Downloader is a program that helps you to easily download manga without even having to open up your browser. The program comes with a huge list of sites that offer manga, and you can pick and choose which sites you would like to download from.

The biggest problem with this program is that it does not have a built-in manga reader. So, all of the manga you download will have to be viewed on a different program. However, there is an option to allow you to read manga online without having to download.

The program I reviewed is the limited version. However, it is not limited in the way that you would think. Pretty much, this version just comes with ads (located at the bottom of the program), and it does not come with the ability to automatically update new chapters that are released for your favorite manga. If you are fine with that, then the limited version will be perfect for you.

DomDomSoft Managa Downloader does come with a bookmark feature. This way, you can easily bookmark manga that you may want to download later, which brings me to my next point. The downloads go pretty quickly. On top of that, with so many sites to download from, you can pick different sites until you find the quickest download.

If this program came with a built-in manga reader it would be nearly perfect. However, it is still a great program that can help you download manga quickly and easily. With so many sites pre-configured in this program, you should have no problem locating the manga you want to read.

    Hi Becky,

It’s unfortunate that in your 60+ years, while learning so v-e-r-y much about computers, you did not also learn even a modicum about grace and manners. The time it took you to rail about YOUR not knowing ANYthing about this particular, hugely popular art form would have been better spent educating yourself with a few of your expert clicks of a mouse. Brings to mind the saying, “Better to be silent and let the world think you a fool rather than to open your mouth and dispel all doubts.”

Since it seems obvious that there are no younger people in your life, e.g., children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or even neighbors’ kids whose parents feel comfortable letting them visit you, and who would have exposed you ‘naturally’ to the subject of this article, perhaps volunteering to share some of your 60+ years of experience at a local elementary/junior-high school will put you in touch with some younger people to whom manga and anime are the modern equivalent of your 10-cent comic books and Nancy Drew Mysteries paperbacks. This potentially would have the added benefit of your osmosing some of the lightheartedness and positivity that characteristically imbue those younger folk. It seems the years have not treated you graciously and, therefore, perhaps, have depleted your supplies of same.

In any event, next time you just “have to” express a negative opinion about anything, perhaps another old saying may make it more palatable: “Tact is the ability to tell someone to ‘Go to hell’ and have them go merrily on their way.”

May you enjoy another 60 years… happily, healthily and harmoniously.

First of all, manga has become so well-known that even many old people acknowledge its existence.

Second, you can’t force an article to explain to you everything. Think about 2 years ago, after cloud computing came in, there’s tons of articles said about it in famous news sources. Did EVERY single one of them tell you fully what cloud computing is ? Bet they didn’t.

Third, just in my opinion, even when you’re more then 60, if you spend time looking up news on dottech, you would not mind just 30 seconds googling a word. If you not, technology is a vast knowledge ocean and not wanting to search the internet means you can’t acquire much unless your daily news sites have an article about it. And I’m sure they can’t cover ANYTHING.

And by the way, just so you don’t have to search anything:
    – Cloud computing is the use of computing resources (hardware and software) that are delivered as a service over a network (typically the Internet).
    – Googling: The transitive verb to google (also spelled to Google) refers to using the Google search engine to obtain information on the Web

And your post even made me google, too. But I can’t seem to find what “osmosis” is.

In my 60+ years I’ve learned a lot about computers by osmosis. Guess that will be the case with this post since the author presumed everyone downloads manga.

I am not a newbie but I don’t care about most social junk or games and I prefer paper books……so is manga one of these? I didn’t see a clue in your article…of course, if I knew what it was, I might have found a couple including a downloader.

It’s unusual to find an article written in English that forces one to a search engine to find out what it is…..especially since there’s nothing in the article that compels one to want to pursue it further.

    slip, slip, slippin’ away……….

Japanese comics? you could have said something!
