Sony has announced that the PlayStation 4 has sold over six million units since it was released only four months ago.
These figures include the fact that the PS4 was recently released in Japan on February 22, and on a whole the sales have been higher than Sony expected last year when they were announcing the PS4.
You can imagine that Microsoft might now be so happy to learn of these numbers. They’ve already had to suffer through the fact that in January the PS4 became the top-selling console, with Sony claiming that the PS4 was outselling the Xbox One by two to one.
It will be interesting to see if the upcoming release of Titanfall, which has had a lot of buzz as of late because of their beta round, will drive the sales of the Xbox One.
