Free AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe (v2.59)! [24-hours only]

Software Description

The following is a description of AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe, as per the developer:

What is AllMyNotes Organizer?

Information surrounds us, it’s everywhere – passwords, hyperlinks, memos, anniversaries, birthdays, numbers, sticky notes, draft letters, pictures, access codes, etc… etc… etc… And there is many software titles aimed to ease data collection and management – contact managers, task lists, reminders, clocks, notes, and a number of others, narrowly targeted uses. Each of these applications is good, but each of them has a limited usage scope, and strictly defined set of fields for data management.

Let us introduce our solution for storing random information – AllMyNotes Organizer! The concept is simple as black and white – keep data of any kind, make it easy to find at any time, and, hide it securely from prying eyes – protect data access by password!

We did our best to remove any limitations – just mix your text with files, images, alarms, tables, tasks (checkboxes)… Create! This is an awesome tool – a universal constructor for basically any kind of data management! The concept is also known as an Outliner concept.

All your Notes stored in a single AllMyNotes Organizer file and can be grouped into flexible virtual folders enabling easy, intuitive access, and instant search at all times.

dotTech Advice

dotTech reviewed AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe (v1.34) in August of 2010. Here was the final verdict:

For being the new kid on the block, AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe does a fairly good job of stepping up to the plate and justifying its existence. In other words, AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe is a good program. However, in my opinion, AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe still needs a bit more development – needs a few features added – before I can officially recommend this program; plus the developer should rethink the price tag of $35. That said, though, looking at the developer’s development plans for this program, I can see AllMyNotes Organizer Deluxe has the potential to turn into one of the best notes programs out there. Keep an eye on this one.

Since August 2010 AllMyNotes Organizer has been updated with new features added. If you need a program of this kind, give AllMyNotes Organizer a try.

    First the good news –
The pay for version ($34), is FREE today –
    http://www.bitsdujour.com/software/allmynotes-organizer/src=day/?utm_campaign=492412&utm_content=1474557128&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Emailvision

The bad news (for me) –
I have the free version on my PC, which I have marked ‘DO NOT USE’
The reason I don’t like it is, I hate seeing folders on the right.
In a free plain text version of a simpler program FlashNote, no matter where you are on the left tree structure, you only ever see data on the right. You NEVER see folders on the right.
Does anyone know whether the paid version (which is free today), can be configured to NOT show folders on the right ?

I was test-driving AMN after the last giveaway & lost it after moving to a new computer, so was delighted to find it again. As far as it goes, it’s an okay program but still has a lot of limiting features that will keep me from buying it. The main deal-breaker for me is the fact I can’t customize the shortcut keys, meaning I either have to memorize a whole new pile of shortcuts, or change all my existing programs to conform to this one. Isn’t going to happen. AMN has most of the standard “necessaries” — encryption, spell check, skins. But it doesn’t have the plain old ugly XP default skin, which I prefer because it’s easier to read, the print on the main menu is way too tiny on my monitor, I can’t change the text in the tree pane (as far as I can tell), editing features are minimal at best (no strike-through, for instance), no styles, no paragraph formatting. Yes, I know this is an ORGANIZER and not a word processor, but I use my present organizer (My Notes Keeper) as a W/P, and that freedom is what I would expect for the regular price of this software. (Others will have different needs & may find this to be no problem.)

“My Notes Keeper” isn’t being supported & I’m actively looking for a substitute (most of my personal & professional life is in my MNK dBases!), and so am testing this software, TreeNotes (which I don’t like at all for many reasons) and — best so far — RightNote. It’s cheaper than AMN (freebies & bargains excluded) & has 20 times the bells & whistles. I am saying this NOT to criticize AMN but rather to urge them to create a better product.

My vote so far: :4 out of 10 but keep an eye on what’s happening with this software. I live in eternal hope of finding the perfect product !

I have used this program for over one year and have not had any problems at all. Easy to use and very handy as an app. that contains all my bits of info. The few times I’ve contacted support, they have been helpful and prompt with their replies. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest), I give this app. a 9 !!!
    Give it a try.

@Ashraf: It says “unregistered”. I am uninstalling and re-installing it, to see if anything changes. [EDIT: no, probably uninstalling leaves some registry entries, since the wizard was not launched after the re-installation - never mind, I can always try Remember the Milk :-) ]

@.mau.: It works for me. What does it say under “Help” -> “About”? Mine says “Deluxe license activated! Enjoy!”. Try http://www.algologic.in/dailysoftwaregiveaway/Install_AllMyNotes_2_59_b517_giveaway.zip if the link in the article above doesn’t work.

@Shi: Avast doesn’t detect anything. Neither does VirusTotal: https://www.virustotal.com/file/8c74bce745ea171232a78e559665864868c64da59aa4099b6a1329b975b2470e/analysis/1332415006/
