Appreciation or Envy?

On today’s giveaway of the day (ImagePut) someone left the following comment:

For the purposes of this post, we will focus on two portions of that comment.

First, the latter half:

#37 :
He is driving people away from GAOTD/GOTD to his own blog.. People may think that That site is also related to GAOTD.. I think GAOTD will sue his site for trademark/copyright infringements very soon..

It was my comment that was #37, so I must assume he is talking to me. I had never thought that writing reviews on giveaways from giveawayoftheday.com would be a “copyright infringement”. Each day GOTD moderators allow my comments to go through – I have never been contacted by anyone from GOTD with concerns about any copyright issues or wrong doing on my part. So I would only have to assume they see no problem with what I am doing. But nonetheless, I do not want to get into legal trouble over this, so I contacted GOTD staff and am waiting for a response from them about this issue.

And I must say that the person who posted this comment has either 1) not been to my website or 2) not read my reviews because on the main GOTD review page, there is a link to giveawayoftheday.com, and on every review there is a link to each giveaway that is on giveawayoftheday.com. So far from “driving people away” from giveawayoftheday.com.

Now the other portion of the comment that we are to focus on:

#32 :
Commenting on other’s comments may mean only two things.. Appreciation or Envoy.. Please do not comment here if you have nothing to say about the software..
“Program Critic” ? I think you are useless as your comments..
Please read the mentioned thing “Please comment only on the software here.

Valid points the poster makes. Now lets combine both parts and read them together:

So I ask: Is this comment appreciation or envy?
