Microsoft is planning to bring their own line of “TV” shows to the Xbox One as well as the Xbox 360, and if all goes to plan they will arrive in 2014’s first quarter at the earliest.

This news comes from Nancy Tellem, who is Microsoft’s television executive, and she believes that their content will be its on beast. “We aren’t Netflix, we aren’t Amazon, we’re a different animal,” she said. “We’re neither or we’re a little like them. It all depends. The lack of black and white and this is the template and this is what we’re following is very difficult. As we continue to do deals everyone’s going to get more comfortable.”

“Depending on the piece of content, the deals change. We’re talking about exclusives, exclusive first windows, exclusive second windows,” Tellem also added.

While details haven’t been released on exactly what shows will be coming out first, there is  a Halo series that is going to be created, with Hollywood titan Steven Spielberg acting as the executive producer.
