Another day hour, another iPhone 5 rumor. This time the rumor is about the release date of the sixth iteration of Apple’s world famous iPhone.
According to a French blog App4phone.fr, the much-awaited iPhone 5 will be released on September 21, 2012. App4phone.fr is getting its information from the third largest accessory manufacturer in China whom Apple has reportedly given a few details about the iPhone 5 including the just-mentioned release date.
Of course without an official release date by Apple, this rumor is exactly that — a rumor. But, it should be mentioned, last year iPhone 4S was released on October 14 so an iPhone on September 21 this year wouldn’t be too much of a stretch. However, as Cult of Mac points out, Apple tends to announce products ten days before release which would mean an announcement this year would land on September 11, a date Apple is unlikely to pick for a major iPhone announcement.
Whenever Apple outs the iP5, it better do it quick before Samsung eats Apple’s lunch. Do you agree? Will you be grabbing an iPhone 5? Share with us in the comments below!
