Check out pandas and other cute animals in the zoo with Google Street View

So with Street View, Google gave us the ability to virtually explore the Burj Khalifa, a Harry Potter movie set, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the interiors of a gigantic airplane. The next logical choice? Why, the zoo of course!

Google has recently added the ability to “take a virtual trip to some of the most famous zoos and animal parks, right from your living room.” Some of the suggested highlights for exploring are the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China and the the world famous San Diego Zoo.

This certainly doesn’t compare to looking at the animals in person, but it could also be used a great way to check out the zoos before visiting them yourself, you might not have the time to travel across the world at the moment just for a zoo, and hey. This is the internet. We all love looking at animals on the internet don’t we. Don’t we?

I’ve compiled a list of some of the newly added zoos below so you can get to exploring as soon as possible:

Enjoy!
