At the beginning of Apple’s media event yesterday, the company announced that iOS 7 will be releasing to the public on September 18th. The latest version of the mobile operating system was announced three months ago during Apple’s WWDC event. It features an all-new design, new features like Control Center and AirDrop, and a multitude of tweaks throughout the whole OS.

iOS 7 will be compatible with the iPhone 4 and later, the 5th generation iPod touch, the iPad 2 and later, and the iPad mini.
