“All citizens must constantly fiddle with their cell phones” [Image]

Now I feel bad about always being on my phone. …Okay, maybe not.

Last night my husband and I had dinner in a local restaurant. While we were waiting for our food, we were laughing, talking, and occasionally holding hands. Nearby, another couple, about our age – we are not young – were talking to each other while they ate. The two couples at the tables across from us had their phones out. They never even looked at each other. They barely noticed when their food arrived.

I wonder if they take them to bed with them. Oh yeah, of course they do. They are used as alarm clocks, too, aren’t they? :)
